PUBLICATION OF PROCEEDINGS
Dear invited speakers and corresponding authors of NanoSEA2008 Conference,
Finally we have received all information from Elsevier concerning the way
to publish the proceedings of NanoSEA2008 Conference. As already announced
a special issue of the review "Superlattices and Microstructures" has
reserved an entire volume of 450 pages. Thus you are invited from now to
write your paper that you will present at NanoSEA2008. The submission
procedure is quite easy and you have to take care of very few things.
The journal's submission, review and decision process is managed entirely
online using the Elsevier Editorial System. Please refer to the attached
tool kit for information on how to log into and use EES for tracking the
submission of the special issue manuscripts.
The Elsevier Editorial System for this journal is located at:
Furtherly you have to register you name to get a personal username and password.
To ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into
the special issue you are editing, it is important that you select
"Special issue: NanoSEA2008" when you reach the "Article Type" step in the
submission process. After this you have to follow the requests indicated
to submit correctly the paper. Please take into account that we have
assigned a maximum of 4 full printed pages on the review per article
including figures and references. So try to follow the author'sinformation
to stay within this request.
"Regarding templates: we do not have a template for authors. However, the
approximate ratio of printed journal pages to manuscript pages is 1:1.5.
In this case a manuscript page is double spaced, 12 pt. font. Therefore,
4 journal pages will be about 6.0 manuscript pages. Authors can use this
ratio as a guideline in lieu of a formal template.
The DEADLINE for paper submission has been fixed at next 15 July, soon
after the Conference to leave you all the time to produce an excellent work."
